Back to business: getting back into routine

The holiday season has concluded. Many have embraced the new year with a "new year, new me" mindset.

How to initiate change?

Times have evolved. Social media plays a significant role in our lives. We witness people engaging in inspiring activities, which certainly boosts our motivation. However, this can also lead us to feel the need to compare ourselves to others. But guess what? You don't have to. We should focus on ourselves and strive to improve personally. Aim to be a better version of yourself than you were yesterday. This is how small steps and small goals lead to change and progress.

The first step is to set goals! Establish small, achievable goals. They might contribute to a larger plan or goal. But if you don't know your destination, how can you measure success? Ensure these goals are measurable. For instance, aim for a weekly mileage target or increase your non-stop running duration.

Assign a timeframe to these goals to maintain accountability.

Ultimately, adopting exercise and a healthy lifestyle hinges on integrating them into your routine. When they become part of your routine, consistency follows, leading to improvements and achieving your goals.

So, what goals have you set for the year?
